Documenting a new life with birth photography is one of my greatest honors.  

On Wednesday, January 16, the Boeckman family welcomed a beautiful little girl into the world. She took her time making her arrival, as she was relishing her last few hours in her mommy’s belly.

Mom was incredibly strong, to see someone you love experience birth…well, let’s just say it rocked my world.  Dad was beside Mom supporting her every step of the way encouraging her and loving her.  It makes me proud to call him my friend. I watched Nana, Dana’s mom squeal with delight as little Annabelle Grace made her way into the world; her excitement was PRECIOUS!  Papaw was a pillar of strength; he held back quietly praying in the spirit for what I can only image was strength for Dana and ease of birth and health for Annabelle.  

When she finally made her appearance, P E R F E C T I O N! Annabelle Grace entered this world at 4:21 PM, which by the way, Nana called the time and nailed it.  She entered at 7 lb 14 oz, 20″ long; Annabelle Grace has the strongest lungs and I doubt her voice will ever go unheard.  I pray she uses her voice to edify the Lord and to build up those around her, departing love and wisdom wherever she goes.  Her lips are full and a beautiful pink, she opened her sparkling little eyes and made a connection with Daddy…who by the way, is already wrapped around her little finger, I am sure of it.

Annabelle Grace rested peacefully on Mommy’s chest until she wriggled her way to her first feeding; her long, tiny fingers wrapped around Mommy’s finger as she latched on and nursed without any struggle.  But what stopped my heart was her little toes moving back and forth as she nursed, she was obviously happy as a little lark.  And those rolls…her cute little arm rolls that scrunch together when she bends her little arm, my goodness.

My heart leaps for this family.  I love her, her mommy and daddy and the other littles that have graciously accepted her into the family and love her endlessly already.

Annabelle Grace, you are LOVED!  And I can’t wait to see how you change this world.
